To say it was cold on this winter morning would be a great understatement. I arrived early, too early to be perfectly honest, in the dark hours of pre-dawn. At the first hint of light, I set my camera and tripod up and found my composition. It was -8°F, cold enough to numb the fingers in a couple of minutes. Because of the dense fog bank on the horizon, the color I had hoped for never materialized. However, the color I did is a great representation of the temperature and atmosphere of the moment.
